The controversy involving choreographer Jani Master has officially ended. The Telugu Film Television Dancers and Dance Directors Association (TFTDDA) withdrew its non-cooperation order against him on Sunday following a resolution meeting with the Telugu Film Federation and industry leaders.
Background: Non-Cooperation Order Against Jani Master
The TFTDDA had earlier issued a non-cooperation notice against Jani Master, urging film industry members not to work with the choreographer. The order stemmed from allegations related to the Association’s funds.
In response, Jani Master submitted a detailed explanation to producers, clarifying his position on the allegations. Meanwhile, the TFTDDA also announced elections for its executive body for the 2025–2027 term.
Film Federation Resolves Dispute
On Sunday, key representatives from the Film Federation and various industry associations convened to address the matter. Jani Master, Dancers’ Association president Sumalatha, Federation president Anil Vallabhaneni, Directors’ Association representative Sai Rajesh, and Producers Council members Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao and Tummala Prasanna Kumar attended the meeting.
After detailed deliberations, the Federation announced an amicable resolution. The non-cooperation order against the choreographer was officially revoked.
Speaking to the media, Anil Vallabhaneni revealed that the Federation played a crucial role in bringing both parties together. Jani Master personally appeared before the Federation and provided a comprehensive explanation regarding the allegations. After reviewing his clarification, the Federation decided to withdraw the suspension.
The Federation president also stated that members who had resigned from the Association would participate in the General Body meeting scheduled for the 26th. He added that appropriate action against the Association Secretary would be taken in the General Body’s presence.
Vallabhaneni thanked senior actors Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, crediting their timely intervention as crucial to resolving the dispute.

Choreographer Jani Master expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Telugu film industry’s senior members for helping resolve the dispute. He acknowledged that the Film Federation represents all 24 crafts of the industry and said he presented his explanation with full respect for the organization.
The choreographer specifically thanked Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna for their valuable support in bringing the matter to a positive conclusion.
Association President Welcomes Resolution
Dancers’ Association president Sumalatha said the recent controversy had affected many dancers and workers. She thanked the industry’s senior members for facilitating a peaceful resolution and expressed hope that everyone would now move forward together.
Sumalatha also emphasized that the hard work and dedication of dancers and technicians should always be respected and fairly recognized.
